At this years annual awards function, held at Mabalingwe, Loftus Caravan City won the following sought after prizes: TOP VOLUME DEALER AWARD – The most new caravans sold by any dealer nationally. This prize was awarded to Loftus Caravan City for the SEVENTH consecutive year.    TWO CAMPWORLD AWARDS - These were awarded for sales volumes in canvas and accessories. GOLD PRIZE FOR DEALER ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM – Awarded for best overall business performance, a large part of this award is measured against a customer satisfaction index. DEALER OF THE YEAR AWARD – Best overall performance over all categories.

Loftus Caravan City started in September 1988 as Loftus Sprite, by Joel Loftus (Snr) and his three sons Woody, Neil and Joel (Jnr).

The company soon became South Africa's leading Sprite dealer and was awarded the Gypsey franchise in 1992, which they called Northrand Gypsey. This business was operated from the same premises. Their total dedication and top sales figures caught the eye of Jurgens CI and are now Jurgens (since 1995), as well as Wilk dealers. The dealership offers a friendly and knowledgeable staff that is committed to service excellence.
