Okto Caravans is a local manufacturer of lightweight caravans. Okto Caravans uses the latest manufacturing machinery and European construction technology, tempered with some South African robustness, to build a caravan that will be unique in the South African market.

The Okto range of luxury caravans is a revolutionary line of caravans designed with new timber-less technology. Gone are the days of worrying about wood rot, as the Okto range offers exceptional durability and weight reduction. Okto Caravans utilizes a combination of sturdy aluminium and fibreglass framework. The wall construction consists of high density polystyrene sheet encased between a fibreglass inner skin and vacuum-pressed with an aluminium outer skin. The walls of the Okto caravans’ models are well-insulated, strong and light-weight. The roof design is fully waterproof and lighter in weight.

In addition, selected models of the Okto range come fully equipped with a variety of luxurious features. Some of the features available in selected models of the Okto range are: Full side tent with groundsheet, 192ltr Defy 12v Fridge/Freezer (or 228ltr Defy 220v Fridge/Freezer), pull-out outside kitchen unit with basin and gas stove, outside hatch and table, walk around double bed and a dinette that can convert into a second bed, hot and cold water taps, and full walk-in bathroom with toilet and full shower (in selected models).

Underslung spare wheel carrier, 12v LED lighting, gas system, 220v /12v Victron charging systems and water tank (in selected models). Air-conditioning and caravan movers can be fitted, as well as various additional products for the Okto Caravans to make every camping trip enjoyable.
